The HeroWear Apex 2 is a lightweight back-assist exosuit for people who regularly bend, lift and do other physically demanding work. Elastic bands along the back stretch as the wearer bends forward, which relieves strain. They then recoil as the wearer stands up, returning energy and making lifting easier.
The exosuit has no motors or batteries, so it needs no charging. An on/off switch at the shoulder turns the assistance on when it’s needed and off when it isn’t. Its slim, flexible design moves naturally with the body, so users can work comfortably, even in tight spaces.
